Principal & Founder of LEVER Architecture
Thomas Robinson is the Principal and Founder of Portland, Oregon-based LEVER Architecture. He is a design leader in the Pacific Northwest with a growing body of work that has been recognized nationally and internationally. LEVER’s project Framework is slated to be the first mass timber high-rise in the US. The project is also a recipient of the US Tall Wood Building Competition Prize. LEVER recently completed Albina Yard, the first US office building constructed with domestically-fabricated cross-laminated timber (CLT). The project houses LEVER’s office.
LEVER’s work has been featured in Architectural Record, The New York Times, The Guardian, Newsweek, Wired, and on CBS Sunday Morning. LEVER is the recipient of multiple awards from the American Institute of Architects’ (AIA) chapters in Portland, Northwest and Pacific Region, and Los Angeles.
