Sridhar Kumaraswamy leads the Philips Hue business, which is right at the forefront of transforming lighting within people’s homes. Sridhar leads an exceptionally talented and passionate team that is committed to delivering compelling personal light experiences by exploiting the power of digital technologies and collaborating with leading smart home players. He brings strong leaderships capabilities, with deep expertise in formulating and implementing innovation and consumer marketing strategies.
Prior to joining Philips Lighting, Sridhar led Philips’ forays in consumer water and air treatment categories in both emerging and developed markets. In the early stages of his career, he was also part of or led several M&A and venture transactions driving the corporate transformation of Philips. He holds a Master’s degree in Finance from the University of Amsterdam and a Bachelor of Engineering from Bharathiar University, India.
